Re-locating and Re-inventing
So the garden has moved again.. When it was finally ready to bloom in all its glory, it had to be left behind.. We have moved and how! From Punjab to Haryana.. and sadly leaving my beloved collection behind.. but safe in the hands of my parents.. I tried to, but could not bring much here owing to the weather and long car journey.. But i do have plans to sneak in the gerberas and dwarf carnations in the car on the next visit home 😉
With a new place comes new experience and it means not being able to find a bag of good soil anywhere to plant the plants I got from Delhi(yes.. we went to Delhi over the weekend and I was so plant-starved that I begged threatened asked to be taken to my fav. Rajdhani Nursery for some plant shopping!)  I am yet to explore the place and lay my eyes on a nursery that takes my breath away(or any nursery for that matter) though i have found hope in the form of a few gamla-walas 😛
From Rajdhani, i got 3 lovely carnations and dwarf syngonium still waiting to be transplanted.. pics in the evening because even a garden fanatic like me cannot go out in this terrible heat and take pics.. talking of the heat.. what’s wrong with with the weather?? and why is the rain playing games with me? When we went to Delhi, it rained in Karnal, when we came back, it rained in Delhi.. and It rained in Ludhiana also while i wasn’t there..
Did u see the clouds on sun? That’s when we won’t be here!! Hope to catch it on monday though… 😀
Signing off from this blabber for some more in the next post..
Happy gardening 🙂
