Rat menace continues

The rats have managed to damage another pot partially though.. I
have to change my seed sowing location now for sure.. Since i could
spot some sunflower seeds left in the pot, i kind of set the soil
and dampened it again.. Hope the rats wont come tonight but i have
planned to cover the pots with stone slabs for the night cuz that’s
when the attack happens.. Hopefully that will deter the pests..

What amazes me is that these pots have been lying around filled
with soil for a while but just as i sowed seeds, the rats came to
know.. HOW??

There isn’t even any growth to attract them as yet!!
Do they hide somewhere and keep an eye on my garden activities?
Are they the enemies i never heard of? Or are they hi-tech and set
up spy-cams in the garden??

Also i deadheaded the pansies and added liquid fertilizer.. Some
how the those dry up real quick.. Same treatment was given to the
coleus i bought. Also moved the succulent i got to a bigger pot..
It has started showing new growth.. yippieeeeee

I will take pics later this evening..
