NEW PLANTS

looking for some hardy summer varieties to fill the pots i’d emptied..

my eyes are dying to dying to see some summer color in this

scorching.. so with a trip to my fav nursery i became the proud

4 types of plants.. one of them is a kind of hibiscus.. double

flowered cream colored, second one is a rose and the third one is

what i had my heart set on since almost 1.5 yrs.. had seen it at a

relatives place and it did not occur to me them to take a cutting

right away.. went again this time in hopes of getting that plant but

they had yanked it out because of renovation.. my heart was

almost broken but they were sweet enough to check out with the

neighbours who happily gave away a few cuttings for me:) this is

the fourth one is lotus which i got from some one who owns acres n

ares of beautiful lotus ponds.. they gave me 3 plants plus a

complimentary bloom all for Rs. 30!! and the local nurseries charge

upto Rs. 200 for a single plant! i’ve planted it today in a plastic

container today but will have a cemented one for it very soon.. As it

was dark already i’l take the pictures tom..
