Sowing Seeds :)

There’s been a lot going on in the garden.. i’ve been cutting pruning feeding as well as sowing..

A few days ago i’d sown the colorado wildflower mix in a neglected patch which showed signs of germination

yesterday(i’d sown on thursday).. here’s how it looked today..

I’d also sprinkled some iceberg lettuce seeds in this plastic tub.. they too came up the third day..

The carantions have been flowering beautifully but getting very sprawly and uneven. So i trimmed down all of them

to make them more neat and bushy and also transplanted all to a similar sunny location. The cuttings went back in

the soil so that the containers fill up quickly.. i checked on them today and they seem to be doing fine 🙂

I spent the first half of the day sowing seeds today.. around 69 types of flowers!! i’d premixed he seed-sowing mix

yest evening only. this time i used the food containers for sowing.. waterproof light n spacious.. and 100 pcs cost

me Rs 220.. not bad!!

I’m in the middle of typing up an excel file of what i’ve sown.. as

soon as i’m done.. i’ll post it too.. there are still a few flower seeds to go which either need some special

treatment which ill sow in trays or need cooler temps.. i think the count will touch hundred plus some herbs 🙂

These two un-official pets gave me company while i was at it.. they think of me as the girl who comes home once in

a while and bugs all the plants.. while one was content watching me from backstage, the other one tread in

cautiously once she knew i’m harmless.. i think its time we became friends:)

While i was sowing seeds it occurred to me that we always think of the beautiful flowers that these tiny miracles will produce but we often fail to notice that these miracles are a beauty in themselves too.. When i saw these sweet sultan seeds i had to stop and see that they are so cute n fuzzy!! it was a delight to touch the fuzz.. so soft!!
