I left behind a green colorful garden and went home after a month to an almost brown garden.. a sad sight but expected.. its HOT!! and by that i mean 40-45 deg celcius.. poor plants!! Despite regular water, with nobody to check on a dying plant, lots of them are battling for life.. i’ve lost two geraniums and i hope one of them is not my fav purple one..also all the seedlings are gone! vanished! except for a lonely little lemon balm seedling thr is nothing to boast of.. oh wait there is.. 2-3 cockscomb jewelbox too.. but thats it!
But a good gardener is never gives up.. so now i’ve sprinkled all kinds of zinnias into one large tub and another contains all kinds of sunflowers and the third holds a mix of rest of the summer seeds.. and now i hope they will be easy to take care of while i’m here and that they grow and eventually flower even though its LATE.. oh we hopeful gardeners:)
Since i am back to delhi, where i feel very garden deprived, i have bought along some seeds and sown here too.. just the thrill of watching seeds germinate is enough for me( a few flowers won’t hurt though)
It has also been in my mind for long to paint some cute colorful planters, the experiment for which is on right now.. i’m waiting for the first coat of colors to dry as i type..and just to make u even more impatient for the pics.. they are purple pink and orange:)
I’m recylcing small plastic containers.
Ok…. Here’s a sneak-peek..

To begin with ,you have picked a really nice theme . I think i might design something similar for a future blog that i plan to create . On top of that ,i honestly enjoy most of your articles and your different point of view. Cheers
Very interested process. I just purchased some seeds so I can try this out as well.
