Even before i had the chance to report the sowing of seeds, i’m set to report their germination! Day before yesterday i’d sown some summer annual’s seeds and today i thought i would go and check up on the in the greenhouse, perhaps water them a little and also cover the exposed seeds with more cocopeat.. but much to my delight i saw that 2-3 kinds of zinnias and sunflower have already started coming up! i loveddddddd the sight! here’s a pic from march 11 of newly sown seeds.. more have been added today which i shall post tomorrow along with germination pics..
I’d also harvested some chamomile flowers to try my hand at making chamomile tea.. must say the experiment turned out very well.. i’m going to harvest the flowers as they bloom and dry for storing..
Roses are coming up in all sorts of colors and so are the freesias.. a particular freesia color caught my attention which looks like the flower has wilted but on closer inspection its actually a mind-blowing color.. never seen it before..
The first rose has been transforming color each day and this is what it looks like now along with a a few more and freesias..
One out of the three miniature roses has started making buds and this one should be open tomorrow..
The hyacinth is doing great too and there’s a tiny new blue flower from the colorado mix which i suspect is a canterbury.. i love it already!! i’ve noticed that there is a lot of blue in the garden this season..
Clarkias are coming up too in vivid colors and in diff shapes as well.. i like the way its never really possible to decipher the actual shape of a clarkia.. mysterious and attractive!
