My garden in Delhi..

Day before yest, i’d gone for a case study.. purely study related stuff.. and guess what did i come back with? yes!! plants.. 🙂 its a universal fact by now that no matter wherever i go, i come back with plants/seeds.. not my fault though.. they follow me everywhere!! its a conspiracy specially in winters when roadside nurseries, shops, garden centres and almost every commercial space is flanked by pots of colorful blooms with the please-take-me-home look.. so what can i do 😉

although what i bought is already what i have but whenever i spot a good color i grab it.. because i grow from seed and mostly i’m never sure which color will come up since i save most seeds at home.. come lets take a look at what i got..

Dianthus and pansy is what i’m addicted to.. and the color of ths sweet william was simply too hard to resist.. and again th color of verbena is simply my fav.. i got one plant of the same from seed last year.. lets see if i’m lucky again.. but then can’t take chances;)

They are still in the baggies i bought them in.. i plan to have both dianthus in one pot and both pansies in one pot for a striking color combination..

The seeds too are coming up very nicely and here’s a peek..

What’s come up so far is..

  • ALLYSSUM – WHITE AND PURPLE
  • CYNOGLOSSUM
  • POPPY OOH-LA-LA
  • HOLLYHOCK DWARF
  • SOME UNKNOWN SEEDS FROM A FRIEND
  • HOLLYHOCK DWARF
  • CHAMOMILE
  • GYPSOPHILLA
  • DAISY
  • QUEEN ANNE’S LACE
  • GODETIA
  • COLORADO MIX
  • CARNATION STRIPES AND PICOTEES
  • ICE PLANT

There is another kind of sweet william with star shaped flowers that i bought recntly.. sadly we were off to ludhiana for a week and one plant died.. so after mourning over it for a week, i collected the seed pods that had formed and immediately sowed them.. lets see what comes up(God plz let it be the starry types)

These sweet peas are going good and having a merry time..

Great stuff. Perhaps a little off topic, but would you mind if I write something about this on my tomato plant blog? I will of course, cite original source and link back to your page.
